Working Offline
Offline mode in mobile applications refers to the ability to function without an active internet connection. In other words, in offline mode, the user can continue using the application features and functionalities without being connected to the internet. The offline mode is helpful for mobile applications, whose probability is high of being used in areas with limited or no internet connectivity, such as remote areas or traveling on a plane. Ultimately, this mode assures that the user experience remains unaffected during limited connectivity.
In offline mode, the data is stored locally on the user's device. This data then becomes actionable without requiring internet access. When the user goes back online, the application synchronizes the local data with the server to ensure that the application content is up to date.
