Roles vs Global Scoping

Global scoping is the first-level filter applied to the information displayed to the users based on the assigned role. In detail, user permissions configured for roles define what modules the user can access and what actions they can perform in each of the accessible modules. Whereas, global scoping controls the data displayed to the users across the modules of the application based on a particular module and the respective data access rights configured for the user.
