Viewing Related Fields
The lookup field establishes connections between forms, allowing you to reference data from other modules within the application. This linkage relies on the record ID, a unique identifier assigned to each record generated through form submissions. While filling a form, the lookup field displays a list of values or records from the related form. Upon selecting a value and submitting the current form, a mapping is created between the forms, facilitated by the record ID. This ensures seamless data synchronization across forms while maintaining a structured and organized database.
Any such fields that link modules by looking up data are accessible and organized in the Related section. This section provides users with a consolidated view of the modules to which the selected module is linked. It includes details such as the display field name and its description, offering a comprehensive understanding of the connections and dependencies among different forms within the application.
