Configuring Module Settings

Module settings act as the control center for tailoring and activating various functionalities within a software application. With default configurations, such as controlling data glimpse display and stateflow, applying universally, users get a sneak peek into seamless customization possibilities.

Additionally, module-specific settings provide further customization options. In the Quotes module, Markup Preferences enable precise tuning of quote values, and Number Formatter ensures clear numerical displays. In the Site module, configuring the site map view enhances the user experience with integrated Google map displays. For the Work Order module, features include uploading task related (preferably before and after) images and automating state transitions, streamlining task management. These extra settings empower users to shape the application according to their unique needs, ensuring a personalized and efficient user experience across modules. You can use the toggle button corresponding to the feature to enable or disable it.

The possible settings across the modules and their configuration/working are explained below.

Default Settings

  • Stateflow - Allows configuring workflow for the concerned module to streamline processing

  • Glimpse - Allows quick access to selected data on hovering a record in the module. On enabling this feature, the Configure Glimpse dialog appears, where you can configure the list of fields whose data must be displayed in the record glimpse.

    Note: You can configure a maximum of six fields to display in the glimpse.

Additional Settings

  • Markup Preferences - Allows adding markup value in quotes. On enabling this feature you can configure the markup feature preferences, like where the markup option must show up and how, as shown below.

    Note:This setting applies only for the Quotes module.

  • Number Formatter - Controls numerical display in the module by rounding or truncating to specified decimal characters. On enabling this feature, users can configure formatting preferences such as rounding off or truncating values and specifying the decimal precision.

  • Site Map View - Enables Google map view for the site in the site summary

    Note:This setting applies only for the Site module.

  • Task Image - Allows professionals uploading images from the gallery for tasks.

    Note:This setting applies only for the Work Order module.

  • Auto State Transition - Enables workflow state to automatically update upon closing all tasks associated with the work order. On enabling this feature, the CHOOSE STATE window appears prompting to choose the preferred state change on closing all the tasks.
